  • Understand how physical activity affects the body in the short term, as well as how it can improve their sense of personal wellbeing
  • Understand that physical activity can help them grow into healthy adults

In the classroom

Children can choose from four exciting Disney-inspired activities.

Once they’ve done an activity, they can either colour in or draw their favourite Disney character in a 10-minute section on the Shake Up clock.

Top tip: Use this as a follow up activity after you've got children doing Shake Ups during the school day.


This is a great way to get kids moving at home.
 

Curriculum

PE:

  • Use running, jumping, throwing and catching in isolation and combination
  • Perform dances using simple movement patterns

Try this!

Encourage children to create two more Shake Ups to add to their Shake Up clock. Get them to share their completed activity sheet with the class once they have coloured in all six Shake Up segments.
